Flooding All Around Washington County

1/11/05 - Continuing rains have caused the Santa Clara and Virgin Rivers to swell yesterday. The national weather service has extended flood warnings until noon today as river levels are expected to drop significantly. Road closures are still in effect at most river crossings. All Washington County schools are closed today. Click for more information, pictures, maps and video... From Tuesday:

Water is currently barreling through Southern Utah. The Virgin River is full at Zion National Park, so floods are expected to continue to get worse throughout the day. St. George City has posted a map of road closures in thea area. Here are some images of the flooding.
