Utah Senators Request Veto Override Session

The Utah State Senate has received the votes necessary to call a veto override session. Although an official ballot count is not yet available, discussions have been focused on the following 3 bills and two line items: Bills:

     SB 115 - Special Election Dates
     SB 239 - Unfair Business Practices
     HB 115 - Carson Smith Special Needs Scholarship

Line Items:

     HB 1 - Item 65
     HB 3 - Item 85

Senators will discuss these pieces of legislation on Wednesday, April
21st, to measure which bills have the support requisite to override the
Governor's veto.
