The SouthernUtah.com Photo of the Week contest is a non-profit, publicly judged weekly contest. Winners are determined by a web-based public vote. Reasonable measures are taken to assure fairness in voting. A voter is allowed one vote per category. A voter's email address is used as a key to identify his vote or votes. Votes associated with invalid email addresses are deleted. In addition, the voter's source IP address is recorded. Although photographers are encouraged to invite their friends and family to vote in the contest, excessive vote-stuffing or "vote for me" campaigns are discouraged. If gross abuses are detected, corrective measures will be taken.

1- Photographs made with a traditional cameras as well as digital cameras will be considered. No image manipulation is allowed except for minor color-correction, image rotation or cropping, and resizing.

2- There are no age limit restrictions except where prohibited by law.

3- You may submit one digital photograph per category per week.

4- If your submission is selected as a Photo of the Week, SouthernUtah.com retains the rights to store and display the bordered image and its thumbnails indefinitely as part of the photo archives.

5- Obscene, provocative, or otherwise prurient content will not be considered. SouthernUtah.com retains sole discretion as to what constitutes unsuitable content.

6- The Photo of the Week selection decisions are final. However, photos will be kept in the pool for the remainder of the month and may still be selected.

7- System malfunctions, network delays, and other technical problems can happen and SouthernUtah.com is not responsible for any photos submitted to the contest, nor does it make any guarantees of when the photos will be entered into the selection pool.

8- SouthernUtah.com will create thumbnails and resample your photo for display.
One photo from each category is selected to be the Photo of the Week. If your photo is not selected, it will be kept on file for the rest of the month as a potential selection for Photo of the Week.
